Kazakhstan to promote issues of relations normalization between Muslim and Western worlds as OIC Chairman - K.Saudabayev

ASTANA. December 1. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Kazakhstan will promote the issues regarding relations normalization of the Muslim and Western worlds on the post of a chairman of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC). OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Kazakh Secretary of State-Minster of Foreign Affairs Kanat Saudabayev has said it at a press conference within the framework of the OSCE Summit.
The Foreign Minister informed that at a bilateral meeting President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev and U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton emphasized importance of the relations normalization of the Muslim world with the Western, effective dialogue of civilizations, increase in tolerance within the framework of the Kazakh presidency in the OSCE.
"These issues to which presidents Nursultan Nazarbayev and Barack Obama pay great attention were very important priorities of our chairmanship in the OSCE. Kazakhstan plans actively promote them as the OIC chairman next year", K.Saudabayev said.
