Kazakhstan to present report on children rights protection by 2011

ASTANA. May 17. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ Kazakhstan intends to present a report on the measures taken in the country in the field of children's rights and freedoms protection to the UN Committee on the Rights of Children by 2011. Chairman of the Committee on children's rights protection of the Kazakh Ministry of Education and Science Raisa Sher has made it public today at the Central-Asian scientific-practical conference "Protection of Children: Ways of Realization".
According to her, our country prepared two reposts since joining the UN Convention on Children's Rights - in 2003 and 2007.
"Now we are preparing for 2011. We intend to report on the achievements and on what has been done in the country on improvement of the quality of life of children", R.Sher said.
