Kazakhstan to present its production in Iran

ASTANA. January 13. KAZINFORM Kazakh manufacturers will have this year an opportunity to represent their production in Iran and hold negotiations with potential buyers, the press service of the National Export and Investments Agency KAZNEX INVEST said.
Taking into account the country's companies interest in tuning up cooperation with Iranian enterprises, the agency plans to hold a trade mission in Tehran, the press release reads. In 2012 the foreign trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Iran made USD 656 mln that is 40% less against 2011. Besides, Kazakhstan's export dropped by 44% to reach just USD 600 mln. For the nine months of 2013 the sales between the two countries amounted to USD 387 mln. Kazakhstan exports to Iran, mainly, wheat, barley and cattle cake.
