Presently, the project is being tested in Akmola region. In May and June of this year, testing will be completed, and after the launch of the portal veterinary experts of all regions, districts will be able to enter the updated data on livestock identified into the web portal, Issayeva noted.
Thus, any farmer, livestock owner, having access to the Internet, can submit an application, which goes into the database and appears in the working directory of the local veterinarian.
Thus, the portal contains information in accordance with the international standards, including a cattle tag number, a unique identification code, time and area of birth, a mother's tag number, breed production characteristics, list of the vaccinations received, previous diseases (health passport), the name of the farm, the data on cattle owner.
Thus, the electronic portal will allow in the future to monitor the entire life cycle of the animal from birth to slaughter, sale, and arrival of meat products at the consumer's table.
In addition to veterinary stations the Ministry of Agriculture plans to equip with the scanning machines all slaughterhouses, the major points of sale of meat and dairy products that will read information from tags and automatically transmit the data to the portal.
