Kazakhstan to launch 5 railway lines in 2014

ASTANA. December 26. KAZINFORM Five high-speed railway lines will be launched next year in Kazakhstan, Minister of Transport and Communications Askar Zhumagaliyev said at a press conference in the Central Communications Service, Kazinform has learnt from primeminister.kz.
"This year we launched three high-speed trains. Next we will open 5 more high-speed lines "Astana-Zashchita", "Almaty-Zashchita" international route "Almaty-Tashkent", etc," he said.
"In the future, the number of routes will increase. Every year we plan to open 4-5 routes," the minister added.
