Kazakhstan to increase oil refining productivity up to 17.5 mln tons

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan plans to increase oil refining productivity up to 17.5 million tons by 2018.
President of the country Nursultan Nazarbayev announced the ambitious plan at the Wednesday session on implementation of the State Program of Forced Industrial-Innovative Development. "A comprehensive plan for oil and gas sector development until 2018 has been adopted. Eventually, we are to increase Kazakhstan's oil refining productivity up to 17.5 million tons. Oil and gas transportation is set to be increased by 98 million tons and 35 billion cubic meters respectively," the Head of State said at the session in Astana.
