Kazakhstan to implement 6 strategic enterprises modernization projects in 2012

ASTANA. February 14. KAZINFORM "Realization of the projects on modernization of six strategic enterprises will begin in 2012," told Kazakh Minister of Industry and New Technologies Aset Issekeshev at the Government session.
According to him, such enterprises as "Aluminum Kazakhstan" JSC, The Sokolovsko-Sarbaisk ore mining and enrichment plant" JSC, "Kazchrome" JSC, "Kazakhmys Corporation" Ltd., "Sat & Company" JSC, "Kazphosphate" LLP have already defended their package plans to start their implementation in 2012.
Besides, the enterprises will work on improving energy efficiency, training of skilled personnel, development of Kazakhstan's content, small and medium business, especially, in small towns. "It is planned in the first half of the year to bring forward package plans of other strategic companies of the mining and smelting complex," Minister A.Issekeshev concluded.
