Kazakhstan to host 46th int'l Mendeleev Chemistry Olympiad

ASTANA January 17. KAZINFORM /Murat Zhakeyev/ "The 46th annual international Mendeleev Chemistry Olympiad will be held this April 23-29 at the Nazarbayev University in Kazakhstan," Kazakh Vice Minister of Education and Science M. Sarybekov told visiting head of the international Olympiad steering committee Valery Lunin.
According to the latter, the Kazakh capital is ready to host the Olympiad for 100 percent.
The Olympiad brings together students of 10-11 grades, the winners of the national chemistry Olympiads of the CIS and the Baltic states.
