Kazakhstan to hold 2nd national selection for SANREMO JUNIOR contest in Italy
Kazakhstan will participate in the 9th edition of the SANREMO JUNIOR international children’s contest set to bring together young talents aged 6-15 from 26 countries on March 26 in Italy’s Sanremo, Kazinform News Agency reports.

Representing the country will be the Grand Prix winner of the 2nd national selection for the SANREMO JUNIOR at the Zhubanova Regional Philharmonic on February 20-22 in Aktobe.
Sanremo Junior Kazakhstan is to bring together 55 contenders from all regions of the country. The jury will include Kazakhstan’s eminent art figures and teachers. Among them are Kazakhstan’s honored figure Svetlana Aitbayeva as a president, famed children’s teacher Marat Aitimov, winner of international contests, holder of the Stella di Italy Order Batyrzhan Smakov, famous Kazakh singer, teacher Diana Sharapova, cultural attaché of Italy’s embassy in Kazakhstan Sara Meneghetti.
Kazakhstan’s people’s artist, Hero of Labor, professor Aiman Mussakhadzhayeva is to preside at the Sanremo Junior Kazakhstan.
The grand finale of the Sanremo Junior Kazakhstan schedule for February 22 will be joined by 12-year-old Magzhan Mynbayev, the Grand Prix winner of the 1st national selection and the winner of the second prize at the Sanremo Junior in Italy.
