Kazakhstan to harvest 16-17 mln tons of grain

ASTANA. August 13. KAZINFORM Kazakhstan will harvest about 16-17 million tons of grains in 2013, according to Saktash Khassenov, the Chairman of the State Inspection Committee under the Agriculture Ministry of Kazakhstan.
"This year's harvest depends on many things. Currently, the crops reached the stage of milky ripeness. So, the harvest forecast has been preliminary raised to about 16-17 million tons," Mr. Khassenov told Tuesday press conference in the Kazakh capital.
