Kazakhstan to get EXPO-2017 flag in July 2014

ASTANA. December 5. KAZINFORM The year of 2014 will be of paramount importance for holding of the International specialized exhibition "EXPO-2017" in Kazakhstan, CEO of JSC "National Company "Astana EXPO-2017" Talgat Yermegiyayev believes.
"The year of 2014 will be of paramount importance since we are to defend Kazakhstan's registration dossier. Perhaps, there will be criticism, some comments as regards the document. And that means the dossier might be readjusted or even altered. When the dossier is finally approved in July, we will get the official flag of the exhibition," Mr. Yermegiyayev told the Thursday press conference in Astana.
According to him, the EXPO registration dossier needs to be endorsed by the government agencies concerned and, then, submitted for the consideration of the Bureau of International Exhibitions (BIE). "The finishing touches have been added to the dossier and it has already been OKed by the state commission," he added.
