Kazakhstan to establish 4 world-class colleges

ASTANA. January 9. KAZINFORM In 2011 implementation of the State Program of Education Development was started. Within this Program the vocational and technical education system is currently undergoing; pm.kz site has learnt from the Ministry of Education and Science.

As earlier reported, Kassipkor holding was established in Kazakhstan in June, 2011, for development of vocational and technical education. Four world-class colleges are planned to be built in Astana, Almaty, Aktobe and Shymkent on the basis of the holding. According to the Ministry of Education and Science, schools of engineering, architecture and construction, information and communication technologies, design, agro-industrial complex, metallurgy and mechanical engineering as well as the crafts school will be opened in the colleges.
