Kazakhstan to ease visa regime for EXPO-2017 visitors

ASTANA. December 9. KAZINFORM Foreign guests wishing to attend the EXPO-2017 event in Astana will be offered simplified visa procedures.
Head of Law Department of the JSC "NC "Astana EXPO-2017" Maya Egimbayeva said at the Monday briefing of the Central Communications Service in the Kazakh capital.
According to Ms Egimbayeva, the Government of Kazakhstan is to approve the simplified visa procedures in a separate resolution.
The law "On employment of population" has been amended to the effect that foreign specialists having extensive hands-on experience in design and construction of the world-class facilities with the elements of new energy-saving technologies could enter Kazakhstan under simplified rules.
