Kazakhstan to complete reconstruction of six int'l auto corridors by 2015

TANA. October 6. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ Kazakhstan will complete reconstruction of six international auto corridors by 2015. Kazakh Minister of transport and Communications Berik Kamaliyev has announced at the 32nd session of Intergovernmental Council of road engineers.
"At present we reconstruct international transit corridors. We plan to complete reconstruction of all six international corridors by 2015," the Minister said.
The Astana-Kostanay-Chelyabinsk highway will be completed by 2012, the Western Europe-Western China road - by 2013, the Aktobe-Uralsk-Samara corridor - by 2014, the Almaty-Astana-Petropavlovsk-Kurgan, Astrakhan-Atyrau-Aktau-the border of Turkmenistan and Omsk-Pavlodar-Maikapshagai highways - by 2015.
