Kazakhstan to chair Organization of Islamic Conference in 2011: K.Tokayev

ASTANA. October 20. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ "Kazakhstan will head the Organization of the Islamic Conference in 2011", Chairman of the Senate of the Kazakh Parliament Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has said today at the opening ceremony of "Kazakh Eli" monument.
"Kazakhstan declared itself as a strong state and reliable partner on the world arena. Today the world admits the great contribution of our leader. Next year Kazakhstan will be the first country on the post-soviet space among Turkic-speaking country and Central Asian states to chair the OSCE. Besides, being a member of the International Muslims Union Kazakhstan was elected as a chair of the Organization of the Islamic Conference in 2010", K.Tokayev said.
The Senate Speaker complemented the merits of the Head of the State. "All labor activity of our leader is penetrated with negotiation of difficulties and barriers for justice and progress", the Senate Chairman said.
