Kazakhstan to become a big transport hub in coming years - Nazarbayev

ASTANA. May 25. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ "In the coming years Kazakhstan will become a big transport hub in Eurasia," President Nursultan Nazarbayev said at the IV World Kurultay of the Kazakh people in Astana on Wednesday.
"Construction of Western China - Western Europe trunk road via Kazakhstan is underway. Through this transit corridor, reviving the Great Silk Road, cargo will be transported three times faster than by sea. This road will open big opportunities for foreign businessmen - the Kazakhs," the Kazakh President emphasized.
