Kazakhstan takes part in Madrid Tourist Exhibition

"On January 22-26 Madrid will host the 34th International Tourism Exhibition ''FITUR'' which is the first major tourist event of 20147", the Ministry informs. Within 5 days visitors will have the opportunity to get acquainted with Kazakhstan in the hall of the Exhibition Center IFEMA. The exhibition will perform tourist opportunities of Kazakhstan by delegations from the cities of Astana and Almaty and Almaty, Zhambyl, Mangistau and South Kazakhstan regions. The Kazakh delegation will join the famous folk jeweler Alibay Berick and "Akku" concert association named after K.Bayzhanova. The exhibition will show a variety of achievements in the field of tourism: the latest trends, new products and services, education, training, consultation, exchange of experience, logistics companies, leisure and culture.

According to the Chairman of the Committee of Tourism Industry of MINT RK Marat Igaliyev Kazakhstan's participation in ''FITUR'' project is important for the formation of the state's tourist image. "The Committee traditionally takes part in the exhibition which is a platform for the presentation of tourist potential of our country", said M.Igaliyev. In addition in the framework of the exhibition there will be carried out "Fiturtech" Science and Technology Forum (dedicated to the joint development of tourism and innovative communication technologies in the modern world), "Know-how Tourism'' conference, ''Sected Prize'' seminar-presentation (comprehensive system for assessment of the quality of tourist destinations) and other activities.

NOTE: In 2013 ''FITUR'' exhibition was attended by approximately 9,000 companies from more than 167 000 countries and regions, more than 116,000 representatives of companies and 100,000 visitors.
