Kazakhstan takes measures on provision of housing accessibility ? Nur Otan National Platform

ASTANA. May 15. In conditions of the global financial crisis our country takes special measures on provision of housing to the needy citizens. KZT 360 bln allotted from the National Fund were directed by SamrukKazyna Fund to the housing construction development. KZT 120 out of them have already been received by the banks for refinancing the mortgage loans. Since March 1 the banks have been considering people?s claims regarding their mortgage loans. The aim of refinancing is lowering the rate of the credit and increasing the term of crediting up to 20 years. To date the banks have already refinanced over 10 thousand borrowers to the sum of KZT 38.6 bln.
As is known, SamrukKazyna Fund has signed an Agreement on interaction with the second-tier banks. An additional mechanism of stabilization of real estate market has been developed. National companies and joint-stock corporations are purchasing living and commercial facilities in incompleted projects in Astana and Almaty cities. Amendments to State Program on housing construction in Kazakhstan for 2008-2010 were introduced.
