Kazakhstan, Switzerland tax agencies to exchange information

ASTANA. January 8. KAZINFORM Majilis (Lower Chamber of the Kazakh Parliament) has approved the bill "On ratification of the Protocol between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Swiss Federal Council on amendments to the Convention between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Swiss Federal Council for the avoidance of double taxation with respect to taxes on income and the Protocol signed in Bern on October 21, 1999".
"This document will help expand cooperation with the Swiss tax agencies and facilitate exchange of information in order to avoid double taxation and tax evasion," Vice Minister of Finance Ruslan Dalenov said, introducing the draft law.
