Kazakhstan suggested joining UN Human Settlements Program

ASTANA. March 26. KAZINFORM "Kazakhstan was suggested to join The United Nations Human Settlements Program," President of Civil Alliance of Kazakhstan Aigul Solovyeva has informed today during the press conference.
"Kazakhstan can't be out off the new directions of civilization, sustainable communities based on ecosystem planning, city of the future, autonomous ecological settlement, and "green" buildings.
"As necessary initiatives, Kazakhstan was suggested to encourage the United Nations Human Settlements Program, the World Green Building Council (WorldGBC), city mayors' agreement "East", A.Solovyeva said.
"We believe that the idea of the coming third industrial revolution in Kazakhstan should become a kind of brand among the public, and "green" projects have become widespread and got "national" status," Solovyeva concluded.
