Kazakhstan studies accession to Association of Asian Constitutional Courts, Rogov

TANA. October 24. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ "Kazakhstan studies the issue of the accession to the Association of Asian Constitutional Courts," chairman of the Kazakh Constitutional Court Igor Rogov told in a meeting with head of the Indonesian Constitutional Court Mohammad Mahfud.
"Indonesia is not just an economically developing country but also a country of democracy with the developed legal system. Indonesia is one of the initiators of the Asian integration of judicial control bodies on the continent," Rogov said.
"Kazakhstan takes an active part in various integration processes; it is an observer state of the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe and recently applied for its membership," Igor Rogov added.
