Kazakhstan Students Community opened in Toronto

ASTANA. March 27. KAZINFORM The Kazakhstan Students Community has been inaugurated at the University of York in Toronto. As the press service of the Kazakh MFA informs, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Canada Yerlan Abildayev congratulated the students on opening the Community and wished them success in future study.

The Ambassador told about the anti-crisis measures launched by the Kazakh Government and noted these measures would help preserve the country?s international development level and promote economic recovery in the post-crisis period. The Diplomat added that Kazakhstan would continue promoting its foreign initiatives and main priorities, in particular, within preparation for the OSCE chairmanship.
The ceremony was attended by Canadian Senator Consiglio Di Nino, Vice Presidents of the University of York Adrian Shubert and Robert Tiffin.
