ASTANA. September 12. KAZINFORM Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev met with Foreign Minister of Iran Ali Akbar Salehi during the CICA jubilee session, the Presidential press service informs.
Issues of international agenda, regional security and development of cooperation between the two countries were discussed at the meeting.
Nursultan Nazarbayev emphasized Kazakhstan stands for diplomatic solution of Iran's nuclear program issue.
In turn, A. Akbar Salehi noted the importance of Kazakhstan's initiative on CICA creation, which is an active platform for discussion of security issues.
