Kazakhstan spent USD 9 bln for road development over 10 years

TANA. October 6. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ KZT 1.290 trln (USD 9 bln) was spent to development of roads in Kazakhstan over 10 years. Kazakh Minister of Transport and Communications Berik Kamaliyev has announced at the 32nd session of Intergovernmental Council of road engineers.
"I would like to note that Kazakhstan implements the policy of development of modern transport infrastructure. For 20 years of independence Kazakhstan reached some results in development of highways. From 2001 KZT 1.290 trln was allocated for road development," B.Kamaliyev said.
