Kazakhstan shows phenomenal results in digitalization – Lomtadze

"Kazakhstan has demonstrated phenomenal results in digitalization within several years,” Lomtadze said during the Digital Bridge 2023 Forum in Astana on Thursday.
He pointed out a high level of penetration of digital payments and various online services into the life of Kazakhstani society.
“Our documents are available in a mobile application. We may register a business online. We may pay taxes and receive various certificates online. All this was achieved just in several years, since the government was keen on making the services more available and there was a business, that was ready to provide its technologies and platforms,” said Lomtadze.
He also raised the issue of education. In his words, the most important investments are those injected in education sector. “Investment in education, namely in training tech professionals will give the biggest result,” he stressed.
