Kazakhstan Senate reviews healthcare bill

ASTANA. June 16. KAZINFORM. Today the Senate?s Committee for Social and Cultural Development has reviewed the draft code of people's health and healthcare system that was approved in first reading; the Senate?s press service informs.
The document is to systematize the legislative acts of public healthcare. Special attention is paid to protection of public health, promotion of healthy lifestyle, preventive measures and restriction for smoking and alcoholism.
In the course of the discussion it was decided to amend the bill approved by Majilis based on all comments and suggestions.
In particular it is offered to eliminate internal inconsistency of its separate positions, to bring it into accord with the Code on Administrative Violations, Civil Code, laws «On communication», «On technical regulation» and other legislative acts.
