Kazakhstan seeks support of its EXPO-2017bid from Greece

ASTANA. October 15. KAZINFORM A delegation from Kazakhstan headed by Rapil Zhoshybayev, Secretary of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry and national coordinator of EXPO-2017 Project, is on its working visit to Athens, Greece.
The delegation is to make a presentation of Astana's bid to host EXPO-2017, according to the Kazakh MFA's spokesman Altai Abibullayev.
In Greece, R. Zhoshybayev will hand a message from Kazakh leader Nursultan Nazarbayev to President of the country Karolos Papoulias.
"The sides plan to sign an intergovernmental agreement on cancelation of visa requirements to the holders of diplomatic passports and hold talks with Minister of Tourism Olga Kefalogianni on easing the visa regime for Kazakhstani tourists," A. Abibullayev added.
