Kazakhstan's students - prize winners of International Olympiad 'IT Planet 2010/2011' in Moscow
Students from Kazakhstan, Russia and Ukraine competed in the finals of the Olympiad.
39 students from 33 educational institutions became prize winners. 16 students represented Kazakhstan.
Minister of Communications and Mass Communications of Russia Igor Shchegolev awarded gold medal winners with special certificates and gold medals within the framework of the 'Student Innovation Summit'.
All the finalists were presented certificates and special awards from company-partners of the Olympiad. The prize winners were presented products of the company-partners, teaching literature and invitations for internship.
Vitaly Petrov from the S.S.Seyfullin Kazakh Agro-Technical University (Astana) won silver medal in the contest 'INTEL'. The results of the rest are as followed: Yelena Mazhitova and Askar Ospanov were 5th (the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, Astana, D-Link), Zhomart Mukhamedzhanov - 6th (the Kazakh-British Technical University, Almaty, Linux), Timur Ilyasov - 6th (the KazFEA, Semey, Microsoft), Irina Fedotova - 7th (the East Kazakhstan State Technical University named after D. Serikbayev, Ust-Kamenogorsk, 1C-programming), Aidar Sarsenbayev and Oleg Chaly from Kostanay were 7th in 1C-accounting, Ildar Bikmamatov was 7th as well (the North Kazakhstan State University named after M. Kozybayev, Petropavlovsk, Linux) and Manas Nurmakhanov - 7th (the Turan University, Almaty, 1C-programming).
The participation in the International Olympiad 'IT Planet 2010/2011' gives students an opportunity to show their talents in the sphere of informational technologies.
