Kazakhstan's science and education organizations have free access to Thomson and Elsevier

ASTANA. August 9. KAZINFORM - All scientific and educational organizations in Kazakhstan are free of charge connected to the worldwide database "Thomson" and "Elsevier", said Vice-Minister of Education and Science of Kazakhstan Murat Orunkhanov.

"All scientific and educational institutions in the country are connected to the global free databases "Thomson" and "Elsevier " for scientists to keep abreast of all scientific achievements, changes, and get equal to the level of Western experts," said M. Orunkhanov during the held in Astana 2nd gathering of student organizations of Kazakhstan abroad. "We have financed more than 2 thousand research projects, conducted an independent examination with the assistance of foreign experts and the result of our activities is that Kazakhstan has declared itself on the international stage."
