Kazakhstan's role of a new «Asian Tiger» to provide new CIS investment opportunities

YALTA. July 6. KAZINFORM "A breakthrough of Kazakhstan to the position of new "Asian Tiger" will provide new investment opportunities for the countries of the former Soviet Union," Ekaterina Shipova, Director of the Post-Crisis World Institute Foundation said during the IV International Investment Forum in Yalta.

According to the international pool of experts, Kazakhstan has the potential to become one of the leading countries in Asia. "Asia has always been strategically interesting for Russia.

Despite all the risks existing in Asia, the experts forecast that this region will keep its status as the most dynamically developing part of the world. It means that new "Asian tigers will emerge.

According to the experts, Turkey, Indonesia, Vietnam, Iran and Kazakhstan can be one of them. Kazakhstan is the only post-Soviet country which the experts name to be one of the Asian tigers," director of the Post-Crisis World Institute Foundation Ekaterina Shipova said at the presentation of "Vision-2050: New Political and Economic Map of the World" international research.

The head of the foundation complimented political continuity of Kazakhstan. "Kazakhstan always pursues multi-vector policies. The country establishes close relations with the neighboring states. Such major regional organizations as the SCO, EurAsEC, CICA and even the Customs Union and the Single Economic Space are initiated by Kazakhstan and promoted by the country," E.Shipova emphasized.
