?I would like to note that the state lays special emphasis on the development of pharmaceutical industry to date and takes unprecedented measures in this direction. The state has never given so much attention to the domestic production before. It should be noted that the Government understands importance of pharmaceutical industry as one of the strategic sectors of the country?s economy?, R. Baigarin says. ?The Head of the State gave a certain task to raise the level of domestic production up to 50%. To date this index makes about 10% and has not changed for the last ten years. Thus, it means the pharmaceutical industry of Kazakhstan faces great challenges now. To my mind these tasks are quite resolvable. Our company, first of all, is keen on realization of these tasks. For this we have all necessary resources and highly-qualified personnel?, he stressed. ?The state has already provided support to us. For example there was introduced a unified system of distribution of the medicaments; domestic producers are given priority for participation in state tenders. But there are still some problems. They concern primarily financing the new project which number grows. It would be great if the state provided some benefits for their implementation. All of this will positively influence on the fulfillment of the set tasks?, he concluded.
