Kazakhstan’s OSCE chairmanship – important achievement of country: N.Nazarbayev

Head of the State Nursultan Nazarbayev stressed the importance of the coming chairmanship in 2010.

"I qualify the Kazakhstan's OSCE chairmanship as one of the national strategic projects. It is an important achievement of our country during the years of independence and promotes the image of our country. It is obvious that our chairmanship will pass in a specific period. It is the world crisis, aggravation of the international situation, energy and food crisis threat, non-proliferation of the mass destruction weapons and uncertainty on many issues of future architecture of the interaction in the world community, including the OSCE responsibility zone. In this regard we must organize the implementation of this honorable mission with high responsibility", the President said.
