Kazakhstan, S Korea to join forces in railway infrastructure development
"Development of transport infrastructure is an important part of the Presidential Address. South Korea can participate in the development of a railway line connecting north and south. During her visit to Kazakhstan in June, our President Park Geun-hye stressed our countries should join forces in railway infrastructure development," Professor Eom Gu Ho said at the round table "Nurly zhol: New strategic horizons for Kazakhstan" in Astana on Monday. He also reminded that earlier the Ministry of Transport of South Korea and the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Kazakhstan concluded agreement establishing friendly ties in the railway sector. According to Professor Eom Gu Ho, South Korean experts attach great importance to the introduction of the new economic policy by Kazakhstan. A Kazakhstani-Korean business forum is expected to eye prospects of cooperation in transport sphere next week.
