Kazakhstan's industry rising at unprecedented pace: Nursultan Nazarbayev

ASTANA. December 20. KAZINFORM Kazakhstan is about to enter the final stage of the State Program of Advanced Industrial and Innovative Development, President Nursultan Nazarbayev said in the course of a teleconference bridge dated to the Day of Industrialization in Astana on Friday.

"Legal framework of the industrialization process has been fully formed and is constantly updated. New enterprises that will offer thousands of new jobs to our people are under construction across Kazakhstan. "Business Road Map-2020", "Exporter-2020" and other notable state programs are implemented. Our businessmen enjoy unprecedented support from the state," Nursultan Nazarbayev noted.

Currently, 900 industrial projects are realized under the Industrialization Map initiative. Tremendous progress has been made in the railroad industry.

"It is of paramount importance that Kazakhstan has enlisted support of large international corporations. We explore their experience and technologies and train our own specialists at modern enterprises of these transnational companies. Kazakhstan's railway industry is gaining momentum: the breakthrough production of electric locomotives, diesel-electric locomotives, passenger freight cars and motor cars has been set up," the Head of State added.

According to President Nazarbayev, it will strengthen the competitiveness of Kazakhstan's economy, create new workplaces, ensure better living standards and prosperity of our citizens.
