Kazakhstan's Independence Day celebrated in Moscow

MOSCOW. KAZINFORM The Kazakh Embassy hosted a solemn reception in Moscow on the occasion of the Independence Day of Kazakhstan.

Reps of the President's Administration and Government of Russia, deputies of State Duma and Federation Council of the Federal Assembly, foreign diplomatic corps accredited in Moscow, international organizations, heads of federal mass media and leading Russian journalists, Kazakh Diaspora attended the event. Addressing the guests Kazakh Ambassador Marat Tazhin highlighted that for the years since gaining its independence Kazakhstan has made a long way to become a country that enjoys today political stability, dynamic economic development and influential foreign policy. "Thanks to the well-balanced policy of the Head of State Kazakhstan has built a society based on the principle of civil identity," Tazhin said. "Next year Kazakhstan starts a new stage of its modernization outlined in the Kazakh President's Address. The new economic policy Nurly Zhol will fuel our economy in the next years to come," he underlined. In a conclusion Tazhin congratulated those gathered on the Independence Day of Kazakhstan wishing all happiness, health and prosperity. A photo exhibition "Unknown Kazakhstan", a national apparel show, A Studio Group performance were held there as part of great celebrations.
