Kazakhstan's Independence Day celebrated in Hungary

The event was held with the participation of representatives of offices of President and Prime Minister, ministries and agencies, members of the National Assembly, heads of regions, representatives of political, cultural and business circles, diplomatic corps, creative intelligentsia, media, Kazakh Diaspora and Kazakh students, the Kazakh MFA's press service said.

The guests of honour at the event were the Minister of Agriculture of Hungary Mr. Sándor Fazekas and Minister for National Economy of Hungary Mr. Mihály Varga. In their speech the guests highly appreciated the achievements of our country over the past years. It was noted that the achievements of Kazakhstan were the outcomes of hard work on pursuing the prudent and wise policy of ethnic harmony and multi-vector diplomacy, carried out under the leadership of First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev. A thematic photo exhibition "Undiscovered Kazakhstan" was held there as part of the reception. Guests were familiarized with the culture and cuisine of the Kazakh people.
