Kazakhstan's highest sky-scraper opened in Astana

ASTANA. July 3. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Today on the threshold of Astana's birthday Kazakhstan Temir Zholy NC JSC has presented its new administrative building. Head of the State Nursultan Nazarbayev attended the ceremony.
President of the Company Askar Mamin acquainted the N. Nazarbayev with the project. The building is the highest one in Kazakhstan; its height is 175m. The project consists of an underground and eight above-ground floors and two cupolas "rising" from them, which are of 37 and 40 floors height.
The complex is notable for an automated movement control centre carrying out dispatcher control over the cargo and passenger transportation.
