Kazakhstan's government deliberately changes qualification structure of workforce

Training and retraining allows citizens for whom at the labor market there are no jobs to go to other areas and take available jobs there. Colleges and professional schools have developed special training programs, and for the third year there have been educational activities in line with the program called "Employment-2020". During two years new specialties have been gained by nearly 100 thousand of Kazakh population, more than half of them have already got a new job.

Employment-2020 started to function in 2011. First line is wage subsidies for social jobs. The Government encourages employers to hire workers, in turn, paying them a portion of the salary from the state budget. To date, almost 60,000 people have been given social jobs and wages are subsidized by the state. Among them there is experienced staff and young people.

Thanks to the initiative of the Kazakh President the program managed to keep under control the level of employment, and to create new jobs.
