Kazakhstan's Golubev may reach main draw of Rome Masters

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Professional tennis player from Kazakhstan Andrey Golubev has advanced to one of the finals of the qualifying round at the Internazionali BNL d'Italia in Rome, Italy, Kazinform refers to Sports.kz.
In the first match of the qualifying round Golubev defeated Pierre Herbert from France in three sets 4:6, 6:4, 6:2. In the final the Kazakh athlete will face another French tennis player Adrian Mannarino.
Mikhail Kukushkin from Kazakhstan is also expected to try his luck at the tournament. He is to play against João Sousa of Portugal in the first round match.
The prize fund of the tournament for men is more than €3 million.
