Kazakhstan's Golubev advances at Mercedes Cup in Germany

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan's Andrey Golubev has reached the second round of the Mercedes Cup in Stuttgart, Germany, Kazinform has learnt from Sports.kz.
The 26-year-old Golubev needed 1h 20 min to route German wild card Philipp Petzschner in straight sets 6:4, 6:1. The Kazakh athlete served six aces and made four double faults. Golubev will next face top seed and defending champion of the tournament Fabio Fognini from Italy.
