ASTANA. October 14. KAZINFORM /Askar Bimendin/ At today's press conference in Astana chairman of the Kazakh Statistics Agency Alikhan Smailov voiced brief results of the country's socio-economic development for January-September 2011.
Foodstuff prices increased by 7.9%, prices for non-food goods grew by 4%, paid service by 6.4%. September 2011 consumer price index made 106.2% against December 2010.
Kazakhstan's GDP growth made 6.8% over the period of January-August 2011.
