Kazakhstan's gas output to reach 60 bln cubic meters by 2030

It was announced by Minister of Oil and Gas Uzakbai Karabalin at a Tuesday press briefing in Astana. "By 2030, natural gas output in Kazakhstan will hit the mark of 59.8 billion cubic meters a year," Minister Karabalin said. The Government of Kazakhstan endorsed a draft master plan for gasification of the country until 2030 the same day. According to the plan, gas consumption in Kazakhstan is expected to rise from 10.9 billion in 2014 to 18 billion cubic meters in 2030.
