Kazakhstan's economy grew 16 times, household income 17 times over 20 years

ASTANA. KAZINFORM "Kazakhstan has achieved its success mostly thanks to pursuing the interethnic concord policy," President Nursultan Nazarbayev said in his interview with the national TV channels.
"The point at issue is that Kazakhstan has achieved success, tremendous success. The country's economy has grown up by 16 times and personal income by 17 times over the past 20 years. It means that we have developed, lived and worked in peace," the President noted. The Head of State also drew attention to the People's Assembly of Kazakhstan, a consultative body under the President. He stressed that the Assembly is "a platform for all ethnic groups of the country".
