ASTANA. June 10. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Kazakhstan's economic development success is a solid foundation for achievement of a strategic goal set by the Head of State to join the top 50 most competitive countries. Deputy Chairman of the Kazakh Senate Mukhambet Kopeyev has said during his welcome speech at a conference entitled "Kazakhstan's economic success over the years of independence."
"The per capita GDP in 2010 reached USD 9 thousand, in comparison with 1994 it increased by 13 times," M.Kopeyev said.
He stressed that a result of successful economic development, Kazakhstan is classified by the World Bank as a middle-income economy.
