ASTANA. November 30. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The delegation of Kazakhstan has always been an important part of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly. Chairman of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Petros Efthimiou appraised the work of Kazakhstan's delegation at a briefing after the meeting with Chairman of the Senate, Vice Chairman of the OSCE PA Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
'The delegation of Kazakhstan has been very strong during last six years, especially chaired by Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. Kazakhstan's delegation has always been very active and effective. I believe it was the reason Mr. Tpokayev was elected a Vice Chairman at the last meeting in Oslo', P. Efthimiou said.
He also noted that Kazakhstan's delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly was a key factor for the OSCE Summit to be held in Astana.
P. Efthimiou also informed that during the meeting with Mr. Tokayev the sides discussed the issues regarding documentation of the OSCE Summit in Astana and the Summit itself.
