Kazakhstan's contribution to nuclear non-proliferation debated in Brussels

USSELS. August 26. KAZINFORM /Dimash Syzdykov/ Kazakhstan's Embassy to the Kingdom of Brussels organized a roundtable devoted to the International Day against Nuclear Tests. It brought together scientists, diplomats and leading European experts.
Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Belgium, Luxembourg, head of the Kazakhstan mission to the EU and NATO Yerik Utembayev told the gathered about the tragic history of Semipalatinsk nuclear testing range and President Nursultan Nazarbayev's decision to close it, Kazatomprom and Belgian Nuclear Research Centre SCK-CEN cooperation in such areas as nuclear energy, medicine, industry and renewable energy sources.
