Kazakhstan's capital investments amounted to KZT 523 bln

ASTANA. KAZINFORM "The total volume of investments in fixed capital of Kazakhstan amounted to KZT 523 bln in January-February, 2014," Alikhan Smailov, head of the Statistics Agency, said.
"It grew by 1.1% as compared to the same period of the last year. Industrial output increased by 0.1%," he added. The country's mining industry saw reduction by 0.7%. The manufacturing output increased by 1.3%, gross agricultural output rose by 1.9%. The short-term economic indicator reached 102.8% in January-February 2014 against the analogous period of the last year.
