Kazakhstan's accession to EEU will not affect its business relationship with Turkey – Turkish Minister of Customs and Trade

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan's accession to the Eurasian Economic Union will not affect its business relationship with Turkey, this has been stated by the Minister of Customs and Trade of Turkey Nurettin Canikli.
Moreover, the country intends to increase the trade volume to $ 10 billion. Nurettin Canikli, Minister of Customs and Trade of Turkey said that the EEU will create an active competitive environment among its members. In general, the Eurasian Economic Union is certainly effective project which is very important for Turkey. The country intends to develop partnerships with the members of the union.
Turkey is a member of the European Customs Union, therefore, it cannot be accepted in other alternative organizations. But this does not prevent the two countries to conclude bilateral economic agreements outside the Customs Union.
