Kazakhstan, Russia settle for a friendly draw

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan's national football team grabbed a 0-0 draw in a friendly with Russia at the Khimki Arena last night, Kazinform has learnt from Sports.kz.
Many experts thought that Kazakhstan will not be able to bounce back from the last time's 6-0 defeat against Russia. However, the visitors had many good opportunities to score and looked pretty confident. For instance, Bauyrzhan Islamkhan (pictured) went very close to a late winner. We also have to give credit to Kazakhstan's goalkeeper Stas Pokatilov who held the hosts to the goalless match.
