Kazakhstan, Russia Presidents discuss current situation in Ukraine

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev had a telephone conversation with President of Russia Vladimir Putin, Akorda reported.
The leaders of Kazakhstan and Russia discussed the current situation in Ukraine and as a whole the achievement of a ceasefire in the conflict zone. Heads of State stressed the importance of implementing Minsk Agreements as of 12 February aimed at resolving the Ukrainian crisis. There have been also discussed the prospects of the Kazakh-Russian cooperation and interaction within the Eurasian economic integration. In conclusion, Putin confirmed his intention to take part in a tripartite meeting of Presidents of Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus which is scheduled for March.
